Encased in a Health Food store is Maui's best Vegatarian restaurant for 1997. Rated by the Maui News Fifth Annual Readers Contest. There is a kitchen and pastry case as well as a hot and cold food bar. This restaurant has the largest assortment of vegan items on the island and is worth the self service. Some hot items mentioned include; Sweet and Sour Seitan; Szechuan broccoli; Teriyaki tofu; and Chinese tofu young. There is also a Down to Earth in Makawao, 1169 Makawao Avnue, Phone No 572-1488.

Here we have in the Health Food store a hot and cold food bar with many Vegan items for self-serve dining. Mana Foods also has their own bakery with Vegan breads, Carob brownies, and pies.
